DSPE-PEG(2000) Maleimide - Introduction
DSPE-PEG-MAL(DSPE-PEG-MAL) is a functional phospholipid covalently modified polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative. The following is a description of the nature, use, formulation and safety information of the DSPE-PEG-MAL:

1. Synthesis of maleimide-phospholipid (MAL-DSPE): Maleimide-phospholipid is obtained by reacting maleimide with phospholipid under appropriate conditions.
2. Linking polyethylene glycol (PEG): A maleimide-phospholipid is reacted with polyethylene glycol under appropriate conditions to obtain a DSPE-PEG-MAL.
